The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported on February 16, 2017 that the City of Little Rock City has adopted a step and grade payscale for non-uniform workers. Your union has worked tirelessly with the City for a number of years to move towards a system like this, one whose impact over time will be of substantial benefit to employees and the City alike.
AFSCME congratulates the City Manager for stepping up and establishing a fairer, more equitable system for their non-uniform employees.
